In this short story, the Cubs are a den of practicing initiates of the Sensual, Esoteric Mysteries. The den is comprised of women at different levels in the initiation process and most will become priestesses. Some of them have had one initiation and some have had several. There's a den mother and she is a fully trained priestess. The Eunuch is undergoing a very special initiation as the massage servant in this story.
